PSV Eindhoven manager Peter Bosz won’t be able to say no to Manchester United, according to Dutch journalist Arno Vermeule.

Vermeule has been speaking to ESPN NL about the possibility of Bosz joining the Red Devils. Soccer News have relayed his comments.

On Monday, Manchester United parted ways with Ruben Amorim and appointed Darren Flecther as the interim manager. He was in charge of the Red Devils’ 2-2 draw against Burnley on Wednesday.

Bosz has been with the Eredivisie side since 2023 and helped them win the title in the last two seasons. He isn’t in contention for the Old Trafford job or at least there aren’t any concrete claims yet.

That hasn’t stopped Vermeule from discussing what could happen if Manchester United were to make an approach for the 62-year-old Dutchman.

“If Manchester United suddenly wants Peter Bosz, it could cause some unrest in the football world. I don’t think Bosz would be able to say ‘no’ to that either,” he said.

Another Dutch journalist, Vincent Schildkamp, was also part of the ESPN NL panel. He’s of the belief the PSV boss would reject Manchester United.

“I think so, because he said PSV is his last club. In my naivety, I think he will keep his word,” Schildkamp explained.

Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær is in firm contention to return to Old Trafford.

On Wednesday, VG in Norway reported Solskjær could sign a contract with the Red Devils as soon as Friday.
