Two months ago, L’Equipe reported the Reds have never broken contact with the forward’s camp.
The 25-year-old has less than six months left on his deal and Le Parisien state Liverpool and Real Madrid will be his options if he decides to leave PSG.
The Merseyside club would dream of replacing Mohamed Salah with Mbappé next summer. The possibility of the latter signing a new deal at Parc des Princes cannot be completely ruled out.
Three years ago, Real Madrid came close to signing Mbappé for free but he snubbed them to sign a new deal at PSG in May 2022.
The report says the La Liga side want to avoid a similar situation this year and won’t wait until the end of the season to know his decision.
PSG face Real Sociedad in the Champions League round of 16 in February and March. AS suggests the two-legged tie could be key, if not decisive, for the Frenchman to make a decision on his future.

Mbappé is calm and he were to delay making a decision, it won’t please Real Madrid. At the same time, it may improve Liverpool’s chances of securing his services.
