Leicester City’s Dennis Praet has seen his game time restricted to nine appearances in all competitions this season and it includes four starts, out of which two of them came from the Premier League.
The midfielder returned to the King Power Stadium in the summer after his loan spell at Torino.
His present situation at Leicester has attracted interest from his former club, Sampdoria, who have made an effort to sign the 28-year-old. That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed by SampNews24.
The Blucerchiati have tried to ask the Foxes about taking the Belgium international on a loan deal, but the Premier League club ‘had a laugh’ when they came across the Serie A side’s formula to sign the player.
Praet, who is also liked by Torino, will not leave Brendan Rodgers’ side on loan in January.
The only possibility for him to leave on a temporary deal is if there is an obligation to buy included in the deal.
His asking price is between €6m and €10m. Torino, for their part, would offer half of this to bring Praet back to the club.
