Last month, Sporx reported Aston Villa had sent their scout to watch Barış Alper Yılmaz. The Villans are now joined by Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in the chase for the Galatasaray player.
That’s according to Milliyet, who say Tottenham, Aston Villa and West Ham are following the 23-year-old.
This season, Barış Alper Yılmaz has mainly been used on both wings, managing seven goals and 12 assists.
The report says he has impressed in each position he operated and this has caught the attention of clubs in England, Italy and France.
For the former, Tottenham, Aston Villa and West Ham are all tagged, and it’s claimed the representatives from these clubs will be in Istanbul on Sunday to monitor him closely against Fenerbahçe.
Milliyet further add ‘like English clubs, the Italian teams are also very interested’, meaning the Premier League trio are keen on the versatile player. As well as Tottenham, Aston Villa and West Ham, the Turkey international is also followed by Juventus, AS Roma and Lille.
With several clubs in the picture this could be a ‘lottery’ for Galatasaray and they expect €20m to sanction Barış Alper Yılmaz’s sale.
