Bournemouth winger Luis Sinisterra is edging closer to sealing his move to Cruzeiro, with multiple outlets in Brazil saying the deal should be wrapped up by the weekend.

Local journalist Samuel Venâncio reported on a radio show this morning that the club’s focus is on tying up the final details before shifting attention to other transfer targets.

Cruzeiro have been working for weeks on the season-long loan with an option to buy, and the expectation now is to get everything signed off in the coming days.

Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra adds that the clubs are now working on the final details that will allow the 26-year-old to travel to Brazil, following an initial agreement between Bournemouth and Cruzeiro.

According to the Brazilian report, once the deal is formalised, Sinisterra could fly in as early as Monday (18). The winger has already been briefed on the club, the city and Leonardo Jardim’s plans for him, with Jardim viewing the wide areas as the squad’s weakest link.

If the schedule holds, this would bring a drawn-out negotiation to a quick finish, and land Cruzeiro the winger they’ve been chasing all window.
