Manchester City’s Juma Bah has thanked RC Lens supporters after finishing his loan spell with the club.
The centre-back left Real Valladolid for Manchester City in the winter market and didn’t find a place in Pep Guardiola’s plans. The Citizens let him join the Ligue 1 club on loan in the same window.
Bah finished his season at Lens and will have to return to Manchester City. He took to his official Instagram page to send a message to the French club’s fans for supporting him during his temporary spell.
Earlier this month, we covered claims from France which stated Lens would like to extend his loan stay for one more season. It was also indicated the 19-year-old won’t be part of Guardiola’s plans at Manchester City next season.
This could force the Sierra Leone international to find a new club in the summer window. The defender hasn’t mentioned where he wants to play but remains confident that he and his agent will make the right decision for next season.
“As we look ahead to the off-season we’re already working hard to build on our strengths and address areas for improvement. We have high hopes for the future and I’m confident that with my agents we’ll be able to make the proper decision for next season,” he said.
“Thank you again for an incredible season! Let’s keep the momentum going and I hope next season even better. Stay proud, stay loyal and let’s keep pushing forward. Thank you RC Lens.”
If Manchester City were to sanction another loan move, Lens could try to secure a new agreement for Bah.
