Fulham tried to sign Fikayo Tomori late in the summer transfer window. The London club could have another chance to get the player in January.
It was clear the player’s agents were in the English capital on transfer deadline day. This was an attempt to find a new club but Milan decided to reinstate him into their project.
Despite that and after Fulham’s persuasion, Tomori hasn’t played for Milan yet. His current deal runs out in 2027 and his situation hasn’t exactly changed after the summer.
Talk about his future is now back.

Tomori’s situation finds significant mention. For now, he is not expected to sign a new deal at the San Siro. The last communication between his agents and Milan has been the news about his reinsertion into the squad. After that, the situation has been at a standstill.
Game time will come for the 28-year-old but probably not enough.
The newspaper state a transfer to Fulham would’ve gone through, if not for Matteo Gabbia’s injury. If Tomori doesn’t find more game time before January, his exit will be on the cards again.
That is when Alvaro Arbeloa’s side will be given a chance at a deal once more.
Favourable deal possible
Tomori finds himself at a club which probably sees him as a fifth or sixth-choice centre-back. He would be much better off playing for a Premier League club that isn’t in Europe but would offer him a squad role.
Fulham will do that and they can get a player with proven Premier League experience.
In the summer, the player was valued at around €15m. Now, the value could drop further, as the defender’s contract runs out in 2027. Milan would also be better off selling him for a low amount than to lose him for free.
