Towards the end of the January transfer window, Fulham came forward to sign AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze.

MilanLive reported in February a fee of €30m was put forward to the Rossoneri, who were keen on the sale. Due to lack of time, the move didn’t go through.

Chukwueze didn’t make any real impact in the second half of the season at Milan. He did score goals against Lazio and Parma, but failed to provide consistency under Sergio Conceicao.

Under Max Allegri, the Nigerian seems to be up for sale again. Journalist Luca Bianchin reports Fulham remain interested in the 26-year-old.

He claims Chukwueze could be one of the players to depart Milan, having joined from Villarreal for a fee of €21m in the summer of 2021.

Bianchin reports Fulham have yet to make an offer but it can be presumed that the Rossoneri’s valuation of the player will be lesser than in January.

Chukwueze’s current contract at the San Siro runs out in the summer of 2028 though and this suggests Milan may not offer a major discount.
