Fulham’s Kenny Tete has ended up on Beşiktaş’ transfer agenda for the summer window.
That’s according to Fanatik, who state the Istanbul club are looking at England to bolster their right-back position for next season. They currently have Jonas Svensson and Onur Bulut in the same position and their performances haven’t been convincing so far.
This has seen Beşiktaş ‘accelerate efforts’ to sign a new right-back and their focus is on the Fulham defender.
It’s claimed the Black Eagles have identified the 28-year-old as ‘first target’, and want to secure his services in the next window.
Beşiktaş will ask the Netherlands international the conditions needed to carry out his signing. His deal expires in June and the report states that allows the Turkish club to sign him on a free transfer in the summer.
Fanatik haven’t taken into account that Fulham have an option to extend his contract for another year.
A potential deal in the summer depends on Beşiktaş trying to convince the player. Fanatik further add ‘many teams from Europe are interested’ in acquiring Tete’s signature, without providing any details of those clubs.
The Dutchman has scored a goal from 18 games for Marco Silva’s side this season.
