A week ago, we covered claims from Brazil which stated Fulham have made advances to sign Fluminense’s André Trindade.
A day later, UOL reported the Brazilian club are waiting for Marco Silva’s side to make a formal bid for the midfielder.
Fluminense have now received an offer from Fulham if a report from Goal in Brazil is to be believed.
The Premier League side have offered €25m including bonuses and the South American club are evaluating it. They are also in negotiations with Fulham over a deal for the 23-year-old, and are looking for the London club to raise their offer.
If they were to accept Fulham’s bid, the Brazilian international will be Fluminense’s club-record sale, surpassing the €18.6m they earned from Gerson’s sale to AS Roma in 2016.
Lance! also state Fluminense are in ‘advanced talks’ with Fulham, who have made a £25m [€29.7m] bid to sign André and this is €4.7m more than the figure quoted by Goal.
Silva’s side are also keen on signing Sheffield United’s Vinícius Souza. Goal say they have tabled an €18m offer, which has been rejected by the Blades. Souza’s agent Giuliano Bertolucci is mediating the talks between the two English clubs.
