Bournemouth could soon face new enquiries for Rayan. Al-Hilal are lining up the Brazilian teenager as a priority target for the remainder of the summer window.
Brazil’s Globo Esporte reports the Saudi Pro League side have identified the 19-year-old as an ideal replacement for Malcom. Malcom is no longer part of Simone Inzaghi’s plans for the 2026-27 season.
The former Barcelona winger is expected to leave. This has prompted Al-Hilal to begin work on signing another Brazilian attacker.
The report states the Saudi club are preparing an offer for Bournemouth after Rayan’s impressive first months in England and his breakthrough performances for Brazil at the World Cup.
Bournemouth only signed the winger from Vasco earlier this year in a deal worth €35m (£30.4m), making it clear from the outset that they viewed him as a long-term investment. That stance now faces an early test.
Al-Hilal see World Cup ace as perfect fit
Rayan’s stunning arrival at Bournemouth has not gone unnoticed of course. We have already covered interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and other European giants.
Now according to Globo Esporte, Al-Hilal believe the teenager offers exactly what they are looking for. He is young and already performing at the highest level. Moreover, he still carries significant resale potential despite the scale of any transfer fee.
The Saudi club are currently assessing the conditions needed to persuade both Bournemouth and the player. More direct talks are expected over the coming weeks. They are stepping up their pursuit.
That suggests the current interest is still at the planning stage. Nevertheless, the expectation in Brazil is that negotiations could gather pace before the window closes.
Bournemouth likely to hold firm
