This has been a busy day for the Gianluca Scamacca saga, and the Italian media isn’t done with their updates.
Following claims that West Ham United wanted the striker sold on Friday, it was soon said Atalanta had joined the battle, placing a €30m package on the table.
Now as Gianluca Di Marzio shares a fresh story on the pursuit, he claims things are indeed moving forward.
It’s said even though Scamacca wanted the move to Inter Milan, Atalanta now work to beat their Italian rivals and actually have growing ‘confidence’. These are said to be ‘decisive’ hours for his future.
The striker player may have given Inter his priority, but it’s claimed that in case they don’t find a deal with West Ham, then he’ll ‘open up’ to Atalanta.
It’s once again claimed that the Hammers’ idea is to get the situation sorted out today, regardless of where he’d be heading to.
Inter Milan are struggling to meet West Ham’s request, and that’s why Atalanta now have the feeling that they’re about to close the deal, always pending the positive response from the striker himself.
