Crystal Palace have identified Stoke City’s Junior Tchamadeu as a transfer target for the summer window.

That’s according to Africa Foot, who state Crystal Palace are interested in the right-back.

Colchester United signed the 21-year-old for their academy from Charlton Athletic in 2020 and promoted him to their first team that year. They sold him to Stoke City in September 2023.

The Cameroon international has mainly operated as a right-back but can also be deployed on the left side of the defence. He made 60 appearances for the Potters of which 45 are from this season.

Crystal Palace have taken notice of the defender’s profile and are showing interest in him.

Tchamadeu’s contract expires in 2027, and the report says Stoke City would need at least €5m to sanction his sale. This doesn’t seem to be a concern for the Eagles as they ‘still intend to make a move’ for him.

Oliver Glasner’s side aren’t alone as CA Osasuna are monitoring the Stoke City player. The report claims they are waiting for the right moment to make an approach.

If Crystal Palace are keen, they can secure Tchamadeu’s services by paying €5m to the Championship club.
