Fluminense’s Jhon Arias is a target for Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham United this summer, with him expected to analyse offers in the near future.
That’s according to journalist Pipe Sierra, who has reported that the Premier League trio are among a list of clubs interested in the winger.
Arias has been impressing for the Brazilian side since joining them in a €600,000 deal in August 2021, managing 35 goals and 38 assists in 168 games since his arrival.
He’s regularly been linked with a potential move to Europe since last year, with various reports indicating there is interest in him in the Premier League.
Crystal Palace and West Ham were credited with an interest in the winger earlier this year, with it reported by journalist Christian Martin that offers were expected to arrive in the near future.
Sierra now add Fulham to the mix, reporting that they are now in a trio of Premier League clubs showing an interest, and perhaps even getting ready to submit a bid.
“What I know about Jhon Arias is that this weekend the terms of the proposals that will be sent to Fluminense will be defined so that Arias can analyse the situation,” NetFlu report him saying.
“Everything is well in place for Arias to leave. There is a Spanish club, which has asked for July to move forward with the negotiation.
“But the closest now is the Premier League. I’ve been told about Crystal Palace, Fulham, West Ham… So, it’ll probably be one of those three. It’s not negotiated with those three, but I think it is likely to be.”
It remains to be seen whether the Premier League trio do make offers in the next week, and what the nature of those offers might be.
Sierra offers no details on that front, but Arias has a contract with Palmeiras until 2026, the Brazilian side don’t need to offer discounts and are sure to want as much as possible given the money available in the Premier League.
