Over the past few weeks, the Italian media have talked about Crystal Palace’s interest in Filip Kostić.

Juventus are looking to offload the 31-year-old and efforts have been ongoing to get rid of him this summer.

Calciomercato provide the latest on Crystal Palace and the interest the player has received from Turkey.

The Serbia international has less than two years left on his contract and Juve technical director Cristiano Giuntoli’s ‘objective is to sell’ him in this window. He has set a starting price of €8m.

Kostić is happy with his life at the Serie A side and feels he can play a role next season. However, the former Eintracht Frankfurt star has to find a new club because of the Turin club’s desire to sell him.

Therefore, the player’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, is ‘working hard’ to find the best solution for his client, and Crystal Palace could be an option for him.

Both Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe have asked about the Serbian, but they haven’t made progress since they did so. There’s another track leading to Crystal Palace, where Oliver Glasner is ‘ready to embrace him again’.

The Eagles manager had trained Kostić at Eintracht Frankfurt and the pair could reunite at Selhurst Park.

It’s claimed Crystal Palace’s ‘first contacts [are] underway’, while Juve are waiting to find out if a ‘real negotiation’ can be opened with the Premier League side.
