Crystal Palace have been linked with Sporting’s Marcus Edwards over the last few months.
In the summer transfer window, it was suggested that there was a deal to be done if the Eagles came forward with the right offer, but nothing materialised.
A Bola have today looked at the 26-year-old’s situation, stating that Edwards could be transfer listed.
The ongoing campaign has been described as make-or-break for the ex-Tottenham man and depending on how he performs this season, Sporting will decide whether to hand him a new deal or not.
His current contract expires in the summer of 2026 and if no renewal is agreed he’ll be put up for sale.
A Bola explain Crystal Palace tried in the summer, with the clear insinuation they could have sucess if they make another attempt.
Edwards has played only six times in the league this season, scoring once. He hasn’t progressed as well as some had hoped, which also makes a sale easier.
Tottenham are set to receive a percentage of a transfer.
