Chris Rigg has impressed for Sunderland this season.
The teenager has played 28 times in the Championship, scoring four times and assisting once and becoming a key part of the side under Regis le Bris.
InterLive have reported today Inter Milan are a potential suitor for the youngster and the feeling is that the Nerazzurri want to ‘close the deal immediately’ for the talented yougster.
Rigg’s versatility in midfield is quite liked by manager Simone Inzaghi, who likens he liken to his former player Luis Alberto.
The report states while Premier League clubs have swooped in on Rigg, Inter want to beat competition and potentially offer a fee of €15m to lure the midfielder from Sunderland.
The feeling is he could be tempted with a move away from the Black Cats, with Inter’s Oaktree management quite appealed by Rigg’s profile. He is seen as a much cheaper alternative to Como’s Nico Paz, who could cost around €50m in the summer transfer window.
