Beşiktaş are keen on signing West Ham United’s Vladimír Coufal in the summer, according to Fotomaç.
The Czech Republic international’s deal with West Ham expires at the end of this season and this seems to have caught the Black Eagles’ attention.
Beşiktaş currently have Onur Bulut and Jonas Svensson as the two right-backs in their squad, while they have sent Valentin Rosier on loan to OGC Nice.
Fotomaç state there’s ‘instability’ in the Istanbul club’s right-back position and, therefore, they are focusing on strengthening the position in the next window.
Fernando Santos’ side are searching the market and are now concentrating their efforts on signing the West Ham defender, mainly because of his expiring contract.
It’s explained that the Turkish club want to ‘finish the job’ and secure the 31-year-old’s services, and to do this, they aim to contact him before the end of this season.
Beşiktaş seem confident with their approach for the defender, but the report hasn’t taken into account that David Moyes’ side have an option to extend his deal for one more year.
Coufal has registered seven assists from 39 games for West Ham this season.
