The Italian media is sharing some news on the future of Arsenal midfielder Jorginho.
Sport Italia comes up with a story saying that since he hasn’t been a first choice for the Gunners’ midfield, he could leave the club in January.
This is the final year of Jorginho’s contract at Arsenal, and that only makes a move away from the Emirates Stadium more likely.
The report says this is a ‘favourable situation’ for the 31-year-old, while Turkey also shows up as an option for him.
Fenerbahce had already tried to take him from Arsenal in the summer window, and want to ‘get back into the game’ to try the transfer once again.
It’s just not said how much the Gunners would demand for a January transfer, or even how much the Turkish side would like to pay.
Jorginho has five appearances for Arsenal this season, mostly coming at the end of games, and that’s why there’s only a total of 77 minutes played.
The midfielder has been linked with a move back to Italy for years, and it’s ironic that now that he could actually make a move, the rumours don’t show up.
