Liverpool and Arsenal are among the clubs ‘closely monitoring’ Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes, according to Sport.
The 23-year-old has scored 13 goals and registered eight assists from 41 games, and a few other top Premier League sides have set their sights on him.
It’s claimed Liverpool and Arsenal have contacted the La Liga side to find out about the forward’s situation.
The Brazil international’s contract lasts until 2028 and Real Madrid, for their part, consider him non-transferable.
Liverpool and Arsenal are aware it’s almost impossible to buy the South American, unless he decides to leave or Los Blancos make him available in the market. If he were to be sold, the newspaper states his asking price will start from €100m.
Rodrygo feels protected by Ancelotti. At the same time, the player is aware he could lose his place in Real Madrid’s starting lineup next season, especially with the arrival of Endrick and if the club were to sign Kylian Mbappé.
In addition to this, Rodrygo will also have to compete with a few other players, including Joselu.
Sport state the South American will not lack offers, if he decides to change clubs in the summer. Liverpool and Arsenal, along with Manchester United, will keep a close eye on his situation at Real Madrid.
