The advanced talks between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea for the transfer of João Félix is something that suddenly got reported by the English, the Portuguese and the Spanish media on Monday afternoon.
Most reports agree that the forward is close to joining the Blues on a loan deal, with the Stamford Bridge side spending around €11m to have him until the end of the season, besides affording his full salary for the remainder of the campaign.
It turns out that some new information is now reported by Spanish outlet AS, who also claims the transfer is close to be done.
Even though Atletico Madrid are said to be ‘reluctant’ about that, the Blues are reportedly working on it.
AS doesn’t have any information about how much would that option cost. They only claim that an agreement could be reached soon, and it’s very possible João Félix made his farewell match for the Colchoneros last weekend.
