Napoli midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa has made quite an impression in Italy and is now attracting the attention of Chelsea.
The ex-Fulham man has impressed for the Naples club, winning Serie A once, and has been a key part of the side since his initial arrival in 2021.
This season, he has six Serie A goals and despite his impressive showings, Napoli could be looking to sell.
Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that Chelsea are in ‘pole position’ for the 29-year-old and there is also interest from Monaco.
While Napoli have exercised an option to extend his current contract until the summer of 2027, they will not oppose a sale in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea know that and are putting pressure on the Cameroon international, whose family would prefer an exit from Napoli.
It is believed that Monaco are quite keen on the move too, with the French club having come forward for him last summer. The report is confident that the Blues are doing their best to convince the player about a transfer.
