Chelsea are preparing a new offer to sign Estevão from Palmeiras, according to the latest reports.
Goal Brasil today writes that the Blues should increase their bid to a total of €65m. That’s €45m certain plus €20m in performance bonuses.
That amount does not include taxes, which should be paid by Chelsea, and could make the package reach up to €75m.
The Brazilian club only have 70% of the player’s rights, and are getting that percentage from the initial fee. Then they receive 100% of the add-ons.
The talks are said to be on the way to a happy ending, even though there’s nothing done for now.
A reason why Chelsea are working so hard to guarantee a deal for the 17-year-old is the big competition there is for him. Goal Brasil lists Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Juventus as other clubs who’ve been interested in the youngster.
