It’s now time for the South American media to report AFC Bournemouth’s interest in Gonzalo Plata.
On Twitter, Ecuadorian outlet Mach Deportes claims the Cherries are keen on landing the 22-year-old this summer.
It’s reported that Bournemouth are willing to spend between €8m and €10m to sign the winger.
For now, there’s no information on whether that would be enough to convince Real Valladolid of the sale.
The Spanish club signed him from Sporting on a loan deal in 2021, and last summer, made the move permanent for €3m.
Featuring for the La Liga side last season, the winger had one goal and seven assists in 36 appearances. Now since they couldn’t avoid relegation, that could be a good chance for Bournemouth to go after their target.
The Cherries’ interest in the player isn’t new, as recent reports claimed Plata himself asked Real Valladolid’s board to facilitate his transfer to the Premier League side.
Now it’s interesting that more details are coming out from the Ecuadorian media, and we shall see if that offer will do the job.
