Juventus, at their end, are keen on parting ways with the former Lille star. His exit would free up a significant amount of funds that will allow the Bianconeri to make some signings.
Now, Aston Villa have made a formal move for David.
Zirkzee deal depends on David
Quotidiano Sportivo report that Juve manager Luciano Spalletti could now be willing to keep Douglas Luiz in Turin, but the same can’t be said for David. His exit will allow the Old Lady to bring in one final attacking signing.
This is likely to be Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee, with Spalletti’s side hoping to sign the Dutchman on an initial loan deal.
For now, Juve are prioritising David’s exit. In the meantime, Aston Villa have offered €15m to sign the Canadian international.

This initial offer isn’t enough, with Juve demanding €30m.
That amount is higher than what has been previously reported by the Italian press. However, it shows that the player is indeed up for sale and suitors like the Villans could get a discount in their move, with the player’s valuation likely to be closer to €20m.
Our take: Late move could be a bargain
Due to Juve’s desperation, Aston Villa would benefit from moving late for the 26-year-old. They would get a discount in the move and there is also a chance David reduces his wage demands at that point.
It would also help Zirkzee’s situation at Manchester United. The Netherlands international would ideally want to play more than he has at Old Trafford. Juve can offer him the chance for that and this would allow the Red Devils to free up some finances.
Manchester United also need some signings and Aston Villa’s move for David can give them an assist.
