According to a claim in the Turkish media, Aston Villa and West Ham United are showing interest in Galatasaray forward Barış Alper Yılmaz ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League ever since his performances during last summer’s Euros and there were reports he held transfer talks with the Hammers after the tournament.
Fotomac today report on the latest developments regarding the future of the Turkish international and they say Aston Villa, West ham and Napoli are in the race to sign the right winger.
However, Yılmaz will not come cheap and it’s claimed Galatasaray have contacted the player’s agent to inform him that they will only accept a ‘non-negotiable’ offer of €35m.
There are no reports if the three interested clubs are prepared to meet his valuation, but the transfer fee has gone up from €25m.
Yılmaz has made 28 appearances for Gala this season, scoring 11 goals. He’s contracted to the Super Lig leaders until June 2027, but it seems Cimbom could look to cash in on him this summer.
