Having sold Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan are looking for a new right-back in the transfer market.
Arsenal’s Héctor Bellerín has been identified as a target and reports from Italy on Monday stated the right-back has asked to leave the north London club.
Calciomercato now details the 26-year-old and the Serie A winners’ stance on a potential transfer this summer.
The Nerazzurri have several options and are in ‘no hurry to take the first step’. They are also waiting to see how the market develops and ‘leaving the hot potatoes to the agents’.
With regards to Mikel Arteta’s man, the report states he is ‘pushing to get a get a green light’ from the north London club to seal an exit.
Inter are ‘looking at him with interest’, but don’t seem willing to make a real investment to sign the Spaniard. The San Siro side would like to take Bellerín on loan, but this formula isn’t appreciated by Arsenal.
If the Premier League side were to offer the player to Inter with an ‘advantageous formula’, they ‘would not think twice’. Bellerín’s agent is already at work to ‘unhinge the resistance’ of the Emirates club.
In the event Inter cannot sign Bellerín, they will move on to Denzel Dumfries and therefore, the track leading to the PSV Eindhoven player is still open.
