Arsenal, Liverpool and all clubs interested in Fluminense midfielder André should start getting prepared to negotiate for his signing.
The 22-year-old has been standing out in Brazil this season, and it’s been a few months since European sides have been said to be in a battle for his transfer.
Fluminense have been working hard to hold him for a while, but according to Gazeta Esportiva, they’re getting prepared to start talking.
It’s said the Rio de Janeiro club will speak about André’s departure at the end of the Brazilian season, which is played until the first week of December.
The club have an even better reason to avoid rumours for now, which is the Copa Libertadores final that is being played in 11 days. That could be the most important match in their history.
Given all of that, a January transfer certainly looks on the cards.
Gazeta Esportiva names Arsenal and Liverpool as two of the clubs who’ve been linked to André, although there doesn’t seem to be big news about their attempts.
It’s previously been said that the Reds would like to offer €30m for his signing, although the official bid never arrived.
Now in case Fluminense do win the Copa Libertadores with a good performance from André, we should see even more clubs joining Arsenal and Liverpool in the race.
