Ademola Lookman is following the Teun Koopmeiners way out at Atalanta.
There was talk of an enquiry made by Paris Saint-Germain and while it didn’t lead to an actual offer, Lookman appears keen on an exit from La Dea.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the winger, who scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final last season, missed Atalanta’s recent training session and the situation is now ‘very heated’.
He could return to the Premier League, as there is interest from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, who have ‘announced’ their desire to make an approach for the Nigerian.
Arsenal want to offer a hefty €50m bonuses and could also put forward Jakub Kiwior as part of the bid.
Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini likes the Polish defender, but for now La Dea want a fee that is between €65-70m.
There is also interest from Liverpool but the Gunners are reportedly ahead in the race.
There is a mention of the fact that La Dea are looking to hand Lookman a new deal which could have a release clause and that is a detail which should be considered very important in the 26-year-old’s situation.
