Arsenal are in the picture to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The 27-year-old’s contract expires at the end of this season and the Serie A side could risk losing him for nothing next summer.

Manchester United showed interest in the player in the summer window, but the deal didn’t take shape because they failed to find an agreement with his mother, Veronique, who is also his agent.

The France international’s representative could pose a problem for the Old Lady to tie him down to a new deal. This could open the door for the likes of Arsenal and others to make an approach to secure his services.

According to Tutto Juve, the duration left on the former PSG man’s contract puts Juventus in ‘serious difficulty’, when negotiating the renewal with his agent.

Rabiot has requested a deal worth €10m per year, which is considered impossible for the Italian club to match, even though Massimiliano Allegri has heaped praise on him.

Therefore, the Premier League seems to be the ‘most likely destination’ for Rabiot, where Arsenal are named as one of the ‘candidates’ to sign the Frenchman.
