Two days ago, L’Equipe reported AS Monaco have made an offer of €9m to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Davinson Sánchez while the Premier League side are aiming to collect around €10-15m to sanction his sale.
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio took to Twitter to state the Ligue 1 side are ‘still pushing’ to sign the Tottenham player.
Di Marzio adds the Colombia international’s agent is in London, negotiating with Spurs to arrange his client’s move to the French principality side.
That’s all the journalist has to say, without mentioning whether Ange Postecoglou’s side are ready to let go of the 27-year-old.
The centre-back’s deal expires in 2024 and Tottenham could risk losing him for free next year, if they fail to cash in from his sale in this window.
Sánchez has made two appearances this season but his future could be away from the north London club.
PSV Eindhoven are also in the mix to sign the former Ajax man, according to Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink.
He says PSV asked about Sánchez earlier this week and even though he was considered ‘too expensive’, the Eredivisie side are expected to ‘keep pushing’ to secure his services.
