Update: It’s official!
With Diogo Dalot’s transfer to Manchester United expected to be announced in the next few hours, Portuguese newspaper A Bola has a few little updates on the process.
They now claim that the player has passed his medical ‘with distinction’, not leaving any doubt about his knee injury which left him out of the end of the last season.
It’s also said that manager José Mourinho wants the player to spend the next few days in Manchester, so he can finish the recovery from surgery at Manchester United’s facilities.
The transfer could be made official at any time now, as the local press is waiting for Porto to announce it to Portuguese financial organ CMVM.
A Bola makes the numbers more clear now, saying that Manchester United have added an extra €2m to the player’s €20m release clause.
Dalot is expected to sign a five-year deal with the Red Devils.
