Last month, we relayed news from Germany which stated Tottenham Hotspur have included Eintracht Frankfurt’s Daichi Kamada in their target list.
The midfielder has impressed for the Bundesliga side this season, managing 12 goals and four assists from 22 matches.
His performances and the duration left on his contract [which expires in June] have caught the attention of other clubs, including Spurs.
According to Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt want to convince the Japan international to continue beyond this season. To do that, they have offered him a three-year deal worth €2.5m per season plus lucrative bonuses.
Tottenham, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are all mentioned in the report. It’s claimed Spurs and the two other sides can ‘easily offer’ Kamada ‘twice the salary’, meaning they can propose a deal worth €5m per year plus bonuses.
Antonio Conte’s side, Barca and BVB may be pleased to know the player ‘wants to take next step’ in his career. This means Kamada could leave his current employer either in January or next summer.
