After trying over and over again to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea, Bayern Munich were unable to convince the Stamford Bridge side to let their starlet go.
The player signed a new contract in September until 2024, and there was hope he would integrate Frank Lampard’s new look side and get the minutes many feel he deserves.

Bayern aren’t looking to ‘spend large amounts’ on the player, but merely ‘borrow him’, which is exactly why attempts for Thomas Lemar and Andrej Kramaric failed as they were ‘too expensive’.
Salihamidzic sees the Chelsea player as an ‘absolute dream transfer’, having stayed in contact with the footballer’s brother and advisor since his club’s first attempts
