West Ham United are reportedly one of the clubs who are set to battle for Argentine youngster Juan Sebastian Sforza.
The information comes from intermediary Camillo Autieri, who has been interviewed by website Milan News today, and made some interesting revelations about the chase for the midfielder.
Autieri, who’s been in contact with several clubs for Sforza’s move, has claimed that besides Serie A sides, there are chases from other parts of Europe.
“Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and West Ham” have all initiated contact over potentially signing the player, Autieri told Milan News.
This story is a little strange because of one fact: the intermediary speaks to much.
Officials don’t normally share that kind of information, and when they do, they don’t want their name on the record. We can’t find a reason why Autieri would want to get the attention, but since Milan News says he’s been involved in other deals with Italian clubs, let’s wait and see where this story gets.
West Ham aren’t one of the Premier League clubs who scout the most the in South America, so this could all be through an agent recommendation.
