Fanatik report Sivasspor’s deadline day move for Stoke City’s Bojan Krkic is off and the Spanish attacker will be staying with the Championship side.

Earlier today we covered reports from the Turkish media that Bojan was close to a move to the Super Lig before today’s transfer deadline.

It was reported Bojan was expected to be in Istanbul to sign for Sivasspor on a loan deal until the summer.

An agent who’s acting as the middleman in a potential move for the Stoke City player has spoken to Demiroren News Agency as covered by Fantatik: “We haven’t talked with Sivasspor. We talked with fellow Turkish club Ankaragucu, but we failed to agree on financial terms.

“Stoke also decided not to sell Bojan because they couldn’t bring in a replacement.  We held talks with Ankaragucu and he wanted €800K in wages until the end of the season but we couldn’t agree on this.”

However, Sporx have reported differently claiming Bojan wasn’t interested in a move to Turkey at this stage of his career. The Turkish media outlet say Sivasspor were interested in the Stoke City attacker, but they couldn’t convince the former Barcelona man to come to the Super Lig.

Bojan has played 15 games for Stoke in all competitions this season and scored one goal. The Spaniard is under contract with the Potters until June 2020.
