Serie B side Pescara are the latest club to show an interest in Aston Villa defender Joleon Lescott, according to claims in the Italian media.
The former Manchester City player looks surplus to requirements at Aston Villa, and has already been linked with a move to Greece this summer.

Gianluca Di Marzio revealed today Pescara are hoping to sign Lescott before next week’s transfer deadline as ex Italy international, and World Cup winner, Massimo Oddo looks to strengthen his squad.
The Italian side want to bring in an experienced defender with international experience, and Lescott looks to fit the bill. It would also be a move which would be welcomed by the Pescara fans.
The president of Pescara is already in talks with Aston Villa with regards to signing Lescott, and there are claims a deal could happen. AEK Athens are also interested in signing the former England international, but the player would prefer to live in Italy rather than Greece.
