Never tired of watching the Portuguese market, Wolverhampton Wanderers seem interested in some local targets again.

According to newspaper O Jogo, Wolves were one of the clubs who sent scouts for the match between FC Porto and SC Braga on Sunday evening.

The outlet doesn’t seem to know whether the Molineux side had any specific targets, although there was probably a lot to see in the Dragons’ 2-0 win.

Porto striker Evanilson was the man of the match, while his teammates Fabio Cardoso, Nico Gonzalez and especially Francisco Conceição did very well too. In the away side’s case, it was a little more difficult to see an impressive performance.

Wolves were recentlylinked to Dragons’ striker Mehdi Taremi, but the player is currently in action with Iran at the Asia Cup, so they didn’t watch him this time.

We should now wait and see whether the English club are still looking for potential January reinforcements, or if they’re doing an early job for their summer lists.

Either way, they are still interested in what’s going on in Portugal, as both Porto and Braga often offer interesting talents.
