Adama Traore spent much of the January transfer window being linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
At various points it seemed just a matter or when and not if a transfer would happen, and Antonio Conte would get a recruit for his Spurs squad.
The Catalan media mentioned Barcelona every now again, although it was felt that it was the player, and agent Jorge Mendes, pushing a return to the Camp Nou, rather than Xavi Hernandez requesting the signing himself.
Barcelona were watching the situation, but weren’t rushing forward… that was until the past few days.
Mendes appears to have done a great convincing job, and after claims of an agreed deal between Wolves and Barcelona, it’s now time for the player to have his medical tests before a dream Blaugrana return.
Sport report Traore will have a medical on Friday afternoon, and will then sign his Barca contract on Monday, before being presented by the club.
The Catalan newspaper doesn’t mention the structure of a deal, but other reports have stated it’s a loan with a purchase option.
