Greek website Sdna.Gr report the deal which will bring Daniel Podence to Wolverhampton Wanderers will be completed before Sunday.
The Portuguese attacker has been linked with a move to Wolves in the past week as they look to bolster their attacking options before next week’s deadline.
Both Greek and English reports have been stating the deal is very close to being completed, and Sdna today claim Podence will be travel to England for a medical today or tomorrow.
It’s reported again that Olympiacos will get close to €30m from the sale of the former Sporting player to Wolves.
The 24 year old wasn’t a part of Olympiacos’ win against OFI in midweek and hasn’t been named in the squad for Sunday’s Athens derby against AEK.
Earlier reports stated Olympiacos could fill the void left by Podence by signing Nottingham Forest’s Joao Carvalho, but Sdna report the Greek giants are in advanced negotiations to sign OFI’s Lisandro Semedo, who’s currently on loan from Fortuna Sittard.
