Wolverhampton Wanderers are ‘close’ to an agreement with OGC Nice for midfielder Mario Lemina to move this month.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say the player is in the ‘final hours’ of his time with the French side.
They report that while the player is a part of the squad for Wednesday’s home game against Montpellier, he is likely to be leaving after that point.
Reports yesterday stated that Wolves were ready to make an offer of around €10m for the player and that would satisfy the Eagles.
It seems a fresh bid has now been made and ‘it is now a done deal’ for the former Southampton man to head to Molineux.
The Gabonese international’s medical could take place later this week, although some final details of the transfer still need to be worked out.
Either way, it appears he is close to departing France and returning to the Premier League, where Wolves are pushing to get a deal over the line.
