Before Inter buy in the summer, they’ll have to sell, and Wolverhampton Wanderers could be the answer to their problem if the interest in Andrea Pinamonti is genuine.

Set to return to the Premier League, the Championship leaders were linked with the young striker during the January transfer window, with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming an offer had been made.

The amount was never revealed, nor was the nature of the deal (loan or full transfer), and that led to a few questions.

However, Calciomercato believe that with Inter’s interest in Villarreal’s Roberto Soriano, who has the same agent as Pinamonti, Eder and Andrea Ranocchia, a lot of money will be going through Tullio Tinti’s hands over the summer.

The 18-year-old striker is seen as potentially being the ‘key’ to all of Inter’s Financial Fair Play issues, and Wolves will certainly have the money to pull off a deal if they so desire.

Since’s it’s been a bit quieter on that front, we’ll have to wait and see, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and, if Wolves play their cards right, they could end up with a nice little deal on their hands.
