With the chance of getting to the Europa League’s semifinals, Sevilla obviously have a big motivation for tonight’s match against Manchester United.

However, there’s a specific player who seems to be even more eager to win that match, and that’s Red Devils’ loanee Alex Telles.

The fullback will be facing his parent club with the chance of knocking them out of the competition, and spoke to El Desmarque about that challenge.

Alex Telles claims he may have left a few friends at Manchester United, but would have no mercy in beating the Red Devils tonight.

“I know many players, but I’m a Sevilla player and I will give my blood for this club. It’s going to be a very tough game. They have good players, but we play in front of our fans. I think we have one more force,” Alex Telles told El Desmarque.

In the past couple of weeks, reports from the English press have been claiming that Telles is one of the players who Manchester United are looking to sell in the next summer.

The 30-year-old looks comfortable in Seville, and even spoke to El Desmarque about how much he likes the club’s anthem, saying he prefers theirs to the Red Devils’.

“Honestly, I really like the Sevilla anthem. Sometimes I stay at home listening to it because it is a hymn that moves you, that excites you. Both are historic, obviously, but the Sevilla anthem… I was discussing it the other day with a friend. We were talking about the clubs and we commented that the Sevilla anthem is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever heard. This, obviously, gives us one more strength before the game.”

The loan doesn’t include a buying option, though, and the clubs would need to negotiate a fee for his permanent move.
