West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli has still not arrived in Istanbul despite reports from the Turkish media he was expected to be there on Tuesday.

Fanatik reported earlier this week the Algerian international was expected to fly to Turkey before the season starts on Friday.

It’s been claimed by Fanatik that paperwork is the reason Feghouli didn’t travel to Istanbul to have his medical, but Galatasaray officials are not expecting any more problems over his transfer transfer from West Ham.

Galatasaray boss Igor Tudor wants to include Feghouli in his match-day squad for the season opener against Kayserispor on Monday.

Fanatik say West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has allowed Feghouli to leave the Premier League club because he thinks the player’s request for more first team football is fair, and Galatasaray could offer him that chance.

It’s understood that Galatasaray will pay €4.5m to West Ham for the transfer of the 27-year old, despite previous claims this would be €5m. Feghouli has also agreed personal terms with the Turkish giants.
