Back at the end of last season, when there was only one year left on Nikola Milenkovic’s contract with Fiorentina, it really seemed like La Viola would sell the player and avoid losing him for free.

Back then, the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and especially West Ham United were heavily linked to the defender, who ended up surprising many people by signing a one-year contract extension.

Now as Italian outlet Calcio Mercato brings an update on his situation, they claim that scenario could be repeated in 2022.

It’s said that many clubs ‘remain attentive’ to Milenkovic. Among them, there are Inter Milan, Juventus, Tottenham and West Ham.

Calcio Mercato claims those clubs are ‘ready to seize the opportunity’ of signing Milenkovic ‘at a sale price’ next summer, as once again there’ll be one year left on his contract.

Recent claims from Italy said the defender may be able to leave La Viola soon for only €15m, as there’s an agreement with the club due to their good relationship.
