‘West Ham in pole position’ – Hammers in repeat contact over summer signing

According to the report, ‘West Ham are in pole position’ and are in repeat contact with the striker’s entourage over a transfer in the summer window.

AS Roma likely wouldn’t want to match the transfer fee needed, which is thought to be around €20m. Such a figure isn’t so prohibitive for West Ham, and there’s clearly a good chance David Moyes can get this signing in if his interest is as genuine as presented.
