Juventus youngster Luca Pellegrini is ‘very close’ to a move to West Ham United as the Italian giants step up their effort to make sales.
That’s according to Spazio Juve, who say Juventus have decided to put the left-back on the market this summer.
The website present an exclusive, and explain that Juventus’ transfer efforts are now in full swing, with Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata officially let go and Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria arriving.
The Argentine and the Spaniard will not be the only departures, though, with the club officially deciding to sell Pellegrini as well.
That will leave Juventus free to sell Pellegrini, and, according to Spazio Juve’s information, the defender is ‘very close’ to West Ham.
Monza are also interested in a deal for the 23-year-old, but it is West Ham who are in ‘pole position’ to secure his signature, and a ‘definitive closure’ on the deal could happen soon.
Juventus are looking for €10m, and there is no mention of whether the Hammers will pay that, just that they are at the front of the queue and seemingly closing in on a deal.
