Tottenham attempted to sign AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori in the winter transfer window and West Ham United can now look to bring the defender back to England.
The centre-back hasn’t made a big mark in the second half of the season for the Italian giants, playing only five Serie A games since February. Only a change of formation from manager Sergio Conceicao has brought about more game time for the 27-year-old in recent weeks.
Doubts are still very much lingering about his future at Milan and MilanLive have looked at his situation.
They report that while Tottenham are still very much in the picture, West Ham are also pursuing his signature. The Rossoneri are interested in a sale as it will help them earn some money to sign other players.
As of now, West Ham could get a discount in the move. Milan want a fee of €30m, but their asking price can fall further due to their need for sales.
The Italian giants want to move on not just Tomori but other ex-Chelsea players like Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek as well, as they look to revamp their squad in the summer.
