Tottenham have been linked with Tanguy Ndombele since March, when it was reported in France that both Spurs and Arsenal were keen on the player.
At that time a figure of €25m was stated as the starting price Lyon would be requiring for their 21 year old midfielder.
Tottenham were pushed back into the story in May and it was made clear that the €25m figure would now be considered too low, and Jean-Michel Aulas, Lyon’s tough president, wouldn’t be letting the youngster go easily.
There were all kinds of claims after about Spurs potentially making offers but things went relatively quiet.
L’Equipe have a small suggestion in their Tuesday edition that Tottenham ‘could be tempted’ to return to the transfer track and make a move for the player.
It’s once again stated that Aulas is against a transfer of Ndombele, with the Frenchman ‘unwilling’ to see the back of the footballer.
