Back in March, we covered claims from France that Tottenham and Arsenal were both interested in Tanguy Ndombele.

The 21 year old midfielder is owned by Amiens but is on loan at Lyon, with the latter set to use their €8m buying clause and sign the player permanently.

The Premier League clubs were said to be following him, along with Serie A club Inter Milan, with the Italian media believing a move would be easier to do than it likely would.

A price-tag of €25m was put on Ndombele, but that always seemed on the low side, especially considering the reputation of Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas.

Monday’s copy of L’Equipe says Ndombele has ‘aroused the interest’ of Tottenham and PSG. Arsenal don’t get a mention this time around.

The French newspaper don’t believe Lyon will sanction the sale, not needing the finances.

L’Equipe state there’s only one of Lyon’s best players and prospects who Aulas plans to let go this summer, and that’s Nabil Fekir.
